1990 Establishment of the Nara Prefectural University of Commerce Department of Commerce,
Faculty of Commerce
2001 Establishment of Nara Prefectural University Department of Regional Economy
& Department of Tourism Management
2007 Rename to Department of Regional Studies & Department of Tourism
2013 Celebrated 60th Anniversary
2014 Establishment of Department of Regional Creation Implemented Commons System
2015 Shifted to a public university corporation
